Many months ago I agreed to teach a summer school course again. 

In January and February I started updating the course outline.

Well, I guess I need to completely honest in my first post.  In January and February I started THINKING about updating the course outline. I get points for that, don’t I?

In March and April I got motivated to do the lion’s share of the updating, but left it in a state of “mostly-doneness” because my Dad got sick, was hospitalized, had surgery and was (still is) having a long and slow recovery.

Now, the lovely sunny days of May are here and I am tweaking the course outline. I should never tweak.  I just created about 10 more hours of work for myself.

I know it will get done for the Thursday night class, but did I really need to work so close to the deadline, I ask myself.  I have no one to blame (isn’t that a shame).
